Can I ask though - how did you get this picked up and into google news?

Very impressive that this blog is syndicated through Google and is it something that is just up to Google or you actively created?

Obviously this is a popular blog with great data so well done on your seo success..

Soccer / Football greats you should write about next!

Last I checked winning a football game, whether it be a regular season game or the Super Bowl, was a team accomplishment. According to the record books the Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl 31, not Brett Favre. Lack I checked the Baltimore Ravens won Super Bowl 35, not Trent Dilfer. Although quarterback is the most important position in football it's still just a position in a true team sport.

Would Favre have been legendary with a poor supporting cast? Hell no. This is a team game, no quarterback is able to succeed player after play when they have an offensive line that dosen't protect, a rushing game that takes pressure off the passing game, receivers willing to get open, a defense that dosen't force the offensve to go out and score over and over, and a coaching staff that is able to communicate with it's players.

If I was a Packer fan I'd be interested in seeing a seasoned quarterback like Favre return. The whole "Rodgers may be the next Steve Young" theory is a ludacris. He's unproven on a team that's ready to win now.

Yeah this is really annoying, Favre is a great QB but unfortunately he is dropping all his good image because he doesnt know when to retire, hes not only damaging his image and the packers, hes hurting Rodgers a lot. The only one who has shown category retiring at the top was Elway.
